This wonderful home is located on the Gold Coast of Australia. The home interior pictures really moved me and at once I knew that I had to share with my readers. I love the "white" theme and how it flows through the house. To me it provides a clean respite in which to live and focus one's life. Then there is the blue color. The Osler House is located in Brasilia, Brazil. The wonderful feature in its design plans is how they have incorporated the use of a pool so prominently. The night time picture really highlights the effect of the pool in the overall "curb appeal" of the home. The architect on this project was Marco Kogan. This contemporary rendering shows the future of JFK Airport's Terminal 5 food court. Being part of the JetBlue area of the airport, you can see the focus on blue as the primary design color. I like how the circles on the ceiling find their way onto the walls add a ripple-like feel to the overall scene. The choice of white furniture compliments the blue color well. Via.
I always get ideas from looking at the interiors of apartments and homes. Some times it can be an affirmation of a design choice I have made. At other times, it may be a new idea, color, or concept I had not previously considered. These pictures are renderings from a wonderful New York City penthouse apartment that is planned for construction in the near future. This building features a series of metal bands at different sizes that creates a unique shape for the building and provides a little character for each floor.
