These fantastic waterfall bathtubs by KÄSCH are inspired by the sounds of nature. In particular, the waterfall is a harmonious sound known to entrance people by helping them relax. KÄSCH has engineered these designs to include the flow of water naturally through a chute as in a waterfall to enhance the bathing experience. I really like this idea and think is it a big improvement over a typical faucet. Often a fantastic bathtub with a ton of options has a mundane faucet from which to deliver water. Most bathroom vanities today are created as one solid piece where once it place, it is a fixture in the bathroom. Designer Maja Ganszyniec has created this bathroom vanity design where the wash basin is "old fashioned". In years past, people used portable basins to wash their face and generally freshen up. This design allows for the stone basin to be picked up, moved around, and emptied by hand. Touch 360 has really added some technology and "a new way to interact with water" with their Ripple Faucet. The faucet was inspired by ripples on the water's surface and creates a strong visual relationship between the user's interaction with it, and with the water flow and temperature. The Ripple has hot and cold channels from which water flows and as the set temperature is changed via the metal ball, the amount of water flowing from each channel adjusts for the illusion the water is mixing for a combined temperature. In reality the water is the same temperature from both sides to prevent the user from being scalded. LED lights under the surface are lit with intensity and color according to the flow and temperature to provide a beautiful interaction with the user. Via

Bathroom vanities are an important design feature for any bathroom. As a blogger, I am always on the lookout for designs that can provide ideas and inspire my readers. With my research I follow a lot of trade journals, design magazines, and blogs. Seldom are there real "new" ideas when it comes to bathroom vanities and frankly most of the images can be quite mundane. This is not the case in this article. These are bathroom vanities from an Italian company, Nova Linea. It is hard for me to pick a favorite between the "lines" versus the "polka-dots". I believe that both of these vanities could work in the right situation and create a phenomenal design for the lucky contemporary home owner. Via.

Nova Linea is an Italian company that produces some of the finest designer bathroom vanities in the world. Using only the finest raw materials Nova Linea is able to construct masterful pieces. One of my favorite things about these bathroom vanities is the fine attention to detail. These look more like works of art rather than functional pieces. These pictures show some of my favorite works where white vanities and cabinets have been detailed with red inlay creating a masterful overall effect that speaks of opulence. HighTech brings a "fossil style" bathroom vanity on the market featuring concrete and wood construction. The vanity is named after the ammonite which is the sea creature that when fossilized creates this unique design. The gray color of the concrete blends well with the grain of the wooden supporting base. I like the look of decorative concrete featured in these pictures. These sink basin shape may be a bit aggressive for many of us, but you have to admit that it is cool to look at. Via.
