This product comes from iHouse who has created new technology in tub faucets with its product called "SmartFaucet". The tub faucet uses facial recognition screening software to recognize the user. It will then turn on the water to that user's desire temperature setting and desired flow to create a bathing experience just like that person prefers. Believe it or not our bathrooms are becoming a place where technology is starting to play a part in the simple things we take for granted. Pressalit introduces their AutoClose automatic toilet seat that senses your presence by opening, then gently returning to closed when you move away. Pressalit's Modern Art collection features the AutoClose self closing toilet seat, and I have a feeling this feature may be standard equipment among high end toilet manufacturers in the distant future. Here is an interesting product that combines a chrome shower head with the rail upon which the curtain is hung. The Pluviae is distributed in North America by AFNY and was designed by Mateo Thun & Partners for Rapsel. An interesting prospect is using this type of product in bathroom design since you can create a small circular space with a drain for a shower and not have a larger rectangular space required. "Flou" by Lacava is a fine example of transitional bathroom furniture. Based on more traditional designs, Lacava has reshaped this bathroom vanity and updated it to a more modern appearance. The result is transitional meaning that "Flou" can work in several decorating settings including traditional, and contemporary. Since I am a fan of modern design I am not very surprised when someone not as into modern takes a shine to a piece like "Flou". In some ways there is a part of each of us that wants to look more current, but it may take the right type of transitional bathroom furniture to bring it out. More information: here.
