Having a bed with storage drawers underneath the mattress provides a great place to store extra sheets, pillows, and other items that would be found in a linen closet. For smaller spaces I like the effect since you may not have extra storage space for extra linens and blankets. The Stratton Platform bed from Pottery Barn is manufactured as you would expect from great wood providing for a high degree of furniture quality. Like most beds on the market a king, queen, full, or twin mattress can be accommodated on the wooden frame. I like the fact that you can choose a version with or without a headboard. Canada has been a great source for well made furniture products for many years and as the market goes faster and cheaper it is nice to see clean, elegant, and quality made products from our neighbors to the north. Mobican has really had a hit with the Luna bedroom that proves to me once again that less is more. The pseudo "sleigh style" headboard of the Luna bed adds a nice touch of modernized class to this minimalist platform bed that is nicely foot board free.
