The first comment on Mia is wow! Mia is a complete wall furniture system. There is a single bed frame on the right. In the middle is a series of storage drawers. The left has a desk for writing and computer work. The contemporary colors on this furniture system are well thought out. The orange brings in some bright colors for the desk. The white color of the bed frame and storage drawers helps center the entire piece. The espresso on top adds a little something while providing a finishing contrast to the white. In decorating the spare bedroom, it is often a guess as to what bed to get to accommodate your guests properly. At times you may need a double bed for a couple and at other times single beds for "non-couple" guests. Some guests will not feel comfortable sharing the same bed if they are not a couple. Designer Marcia Hanvey Isaksson has created a solution to this dilemma. This modular bed can be pushed together to create a double bed or separated to create single beds. The Anristar canopy bed is the creation of California designer, Jiun Ho. The Anristar is a transitional piece with a touch of modern styling combined with influence from traditional furniture. The wooden frame features extra detail in both the headboard and the footboard as seen in the picture. Often canopy beds have bulkier frames, but in this design it is more streamlined and slim.
