Here an unassuming vertical chest / jewelry cabinet that has a great deal of quality and detailing packed into a very small foot print. Designer Jaime Tresserra of the Tresserra Collection puts focus on the craftsmanship rather than the bottom line that usually results in constraints and the sacrifice of beauty. I am extremely impressed with this collection and the obvious passion that goes into each piece. One of my favorites from the line is the "El Coleccionista" tall chest that features a flip up mirror, concealed lock, dark and light Walnut construction, gunmetal silver and nickel fittings, and hazelnut Vaquetilla leather containers within some of it various sized storage and jewelry drawers. I always look forward to design news on contemporary beds. Of course Karim Rashid is a household name in the design world so these models should not come as a shock to any design fans. Bright colors are a theme in these contemporary beds along with technology such as iPod docking stations. The product names are Shell, Combi, and Glow. Bed designs come and go but often take shape from the styles of the past with very little change or unique qualities.
