Wardrobes are the perfect substitute for clothes storage systems when closet space is not available or additional storage systems are required. We recently featured the Urano bed from Falegnameria 1946 and here is their Memory walk in closet system in Cherry wood that features ample shelving, clothes hangers with stick, storage drawers on rollers, bronze mirrors, and back panels in ostrich skin fabric. See the entire collection of wardrobes and walk in closets from Falegnameria 1946 including more from the Memory series as well as the Atelier and New Age collections here.

Talking more on closet tips, this trouser rack can hold up to 25 pairs of slacks. It is built on wheels allowing freedom of movement should you wish to slide it underneath hanging clothes or against a wall. The trouser rack uses cedar hangers upon which to store pants. It does look that 25 may create a tight fit, but even storing up to 15 pairs is a good use of space. One feature that I like about this accessory is the convenience of looking down upon trousers to find the right one. This can come in handy when you are really "hunting" for that one you just cannot find! Dimensions: 36"W x 17"D x 27"H. Price: $189. Buy product: here.

I am always looking for closet organizing helpers since that room seems to be so difficult to keep tidy. These mahogany shoe racks come in sets of two so they can be used as pictured or broken down into two-level high racks. They are designed to accommodate 4-5 pair of shoes per level depending on the shoe size. Many people choose to line the bottom of their closet with shoe racks if their hanging bars are high enough to allow space underneath hung-up clothing. In an earlier article, we featured 6 inexpensive shoe organizer solutions that might also offer ideas. One element of wooden racks is that they are much more attractive than many of the inexpensive solutions sold on the market. This product is sold in sets of 2 and retails for $99 here.

How about starting off your morning in this dream walk-in closet from Besana? This place is massive with tons of room for storing your wardrobe and for moving around. The walk-in closet is built in melamine birch which offers a nice neutral shade for your clothes. One of my favorite elements is the see-through shoe drawers underneath the hanging clothes area. You can see that there is glass on top of the drawers. This provides maximum visibility for your shoes. I also like shoes in drawers as this provides a more organized and tidy look than an open shoe rack. The lighting is a bit strong in this picture and one that I would not duplicate in my own version. It does create a ritzy feel, but it sure is a large fixture. More information: here.

"Dress" is an organized walk-in closet finished in white from Rimadesio of Italy. White is a great color for a closet at it provides a great backdrop for identifying clothes. Additionally, white reminds us of "new" and "fresh" which is helpful in deciding on what to wear. I do like the storage chests and shelving units on castor wheels. Mobility is a nice feature and gives you options should you choose to move items around at a later time. The number of storage chests and shelves in this design could free up the need for having a dresser in the bedroom. This design uses sliding doors to enter and exit the walk-in closet. I am sure that these could be fitted for just regular doors if that is not your design preference. One of the great challenges is determining the right design for your wardrobe since there are so many combinations of features to choose from. More information: here.
