Designer Bodo Sperlein will reveal his shapely Contour Table and Chair at this year's London Design Festival. I find the looping shape rather creative and characteristic of Sperlein's previous works. The chair "exudes a simple elegance, and has been designed to look like a single sculpted sheet. A ribbon-like profile draws the eye effortlessly around a series of loops terminating in slender legs that conceal their true strength". In 1972 Frank Gehry who is well known for exploring with unusual materials in his furniture designs included corrugated cardboard among his uses.
