For generation Grand Pianos have graced the living rooms of those who have a fondness for music and the beautiful instruments that create it. German automobile maker Audi recently put their designers up to the task of designing this modern Grand Piano to celebrate their 100th anniversary. Audi teamed up with manufacturer Bosendorfer, and this modern designed piano debuted at a celebratory ceremony in Germany last month. The expected price tag will be $140,000 US
The "Tennis Ball Bench" is not a piece of furniture you will see down at the local store, rather a limited edition designed in 2004 for the Digital Depot of the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam. Designers Tejo Remy and René Veenhuizen made this unique bench from chrome-plated steel rods and tennis balls. H. 46 x 150 x 130 cm. The bench was offered at auction in Munich and was estimated to sell for 4000 euros.
