Hooker Furniture certainly has some classic traditional styles that adhere to the old world standards they have become known for. However their office furniture has adapted some very modern features for the perfect combination of old and new. Here is a great looking desk perfect for a more formal office setting. The Casa Mollino desk from Ashley furniture captures the classic look of desks of old. Now that computers are much smaller, and many owners having laptops, the surface area of the desk should not be an issue for having ample work space.
Last week I brought you a great desk idea from Knu Furniture, the desk #4. Well here is an equally stylish desk #3 with a hanging drawer unit for legal and letter filing, and room to spread out your work. The wood components are from Forest Stewardship Council-certified sustainable harvested sources, and are available in six veneer choices. The legs are 1 ¼ diameter 12 gauge steel powder coated with an aluminum finish and capped off with a nickel plated leveler for placement on even the bumpiest floors. I like the #3 because it has a cool retro feel that lends its self well to a classical modern setting.
