Lamps are often much more that additional lighting and utilitarian in their design, and here is cool lamp that looks just as good off as it does on. German designers Konstantin Landuris and Horst Wittmann make up the creative minds of "hansandfranz" who released their "Troja" arc floor lamp at the Salone Satellite Milano Furniture Fair 2007 where they received the Design Report Award special mention. I have always been of fan of candles as they can work for different moods from romance to casual dining. Using candles in conjunction with a chandelier or other hanging lighting fixtures intrigues me. I do not know a great deal about this piece that I found from Holly Hunt. This was the only picture I could find and there was no accompanying information. I will need to go to a showroom to see it in person. I do like what I see at this point. Fucsia is an interesting series of lights designed by Achille Castiglioni for a modern dining room. There are 12 hanging lights in all which I like as it is sure to illuminate the room adequately. Each of the lights hangs from a thin strip base that attaches to the ceiling. A dimmer switch would allow for easy control over how much light it produced to help set the mood correctly depending on if you are reading the morning paper or having a romantic dinner with your spouse. If you are looking for a bit of fun in the area of hanging pendant lights, then Jake Phipps may have just the product. Wooster are pendant lights made from actual hats such as bowlers and top hats. Now, I have to admire the class of these hats as they always spoke of style and sophistication. I can't but help think of old movies where the actors were dressed up in bowlers or top hats since they were the fashion style of that era.
