If you are into really modern looks and your kitchen is a special place, more than just a room to cook meals, then the Boffi collection may be perfect. The line includes solutions for large and small spaces with extremely clean designs, floating fixtures, and intersecting planes. I particularly like the floating islands with the hideaway storage compartments and cook top that doubles as a table. The Boffi of Italy series will take your kitchen way beyond the ordinary.
Here is an excellent sectional from Weiman / Preview a well known name in high end contemporary furniture and seating. A division of Interlude Home, Weiman / Preview features the modern designs of Vadimir Kagen, Stanley Jay Freidmen, Fillmore Hardy, and many other great designers of the day. I really like the way their clean lines flow to create a timeless not trendy look, and expand the otherwise ordinary to extraordinary. Their incredible selection of fabrics and micro fibers leave nothing to be desired adding that final touch to some really sharp designs.
The Contura 2010 line from Fjords of Norway is probably the most detailed chair I have ever seen or felt. Designed by Svein Asbjornsen as first class airline seating, it is without a doubt first class seating. The zero gravity technology allows you to transition into any position and lock the chair for hours of suspended comfort. The Contura features a manually adjustable tilt headrest and cushion that slides up and down allowing optimal head and neck support. Covered in high quality leather and hand made in Norway, this will soon be your favorite piece of furniture.

I've always had a fondness for Danish modern furniture, but the Illusion table from Essey of Denmark is not what you may normally expect. The 3mm acrylic sheet looks like a cloth draped over a round table. The folds of the acrylic give the side table structural integrity and each one is handmade and unique. It should be handled like glass and can support 25 kg of weight. Available in white or clear for around $250 plus shipping from greenergrassdesign.
