This month Furniture Fashion has brought to you some great children's, and grown up furniture ideas, but what about the teenagers. Well here is a super piece from designer Roberts Ramme of Brazil. The Wave Chaise manages to combine design, technology, and ergonomics into a multifunctional lounge. Weather its television, internet, dvd's, or studying, its all with in reach in the Wave Chaise. Ramme's design has the "values and personalities of today's teenagers in mind and the standards generated by a hi-tech culture of facilities, where the access to technology is cheap and easy". All I know is this sure beats the furniture I grew up with!
Ok, here is a high chair for the kids and a chair for the parents. The Tripp Trapp chair from Danish Manufacturer Stokke is a truly great concept in high chairs. Made from very durable wood and supported by metal hardware this chair will hold up to anything your child can dish out. The best part is the adjustable seat and footrest allowing support at any age and size. As the kids get to old for the high chair it can be used as a regular chair easily supporting the weight of a grown up. The Stokke line which caters to the growing child includes nursery furniture and transportation products. Their philosophy is to enhance a childs natural behavior, and allow them to discover the world on their own terms.

Parenthood is a beautiful and stressful challenge, and one of the first things that new parents have to consider is finding a baby crib suitable for their little one. Crib searching doesn't have to be a burdensome task; in fact it can be one of the more fruitful events to prepare for before the baby comes along.
When shopping for your baby crib, be sure to consider the following basics:
Keep an eye out for a crib that has a high head and footboard, this ensures your child will have a peaceful night's rest since it reduces noise and distractions. A higher headboard also makes it convenient to clip a mobile to the side. Most cribs usually come with a drop down gate for you to pick baby up and put him back down for naps, but make sure that all of the proper hardware is included in the packaging. If the crib you purchase happens to have wheels, be sure to take extra care that the casters lock to ensure baby's safety.

You also want child furniture that's as practical as it is pretty. After all, your child's grown more active and curious. He loves to play, read, and occasionally subject his toys to the loud banging and kicking ("but it's part of the game, Mommy!").
