I have followed Pottery Barn for years. I can tell you that their best leather recliner is their Manhattan model. Having owned one of these chairs for several years I can say that the quality has been top notch. There have been no issues with springs, the reclining mechanism or the leather upholstery. The iconic color for them is the cigar brown which creates a classic look for any room this chair may sit in. I will say this chair does have a sizable footprint so if your floor space is limited, it may be a challenge to work into a smaller room. Dimensions: 39'' wide x 40'' deep x 36'' high. Price: $1,899-$1,999. Buy the product: HERE.

The Larus Chaise Lounge may support the belief that it is better to look good than to feel good at first glance, however this ultra modern lounger supports both concepts equally. Poltrona Frau incorporated a variety of electric massage, and reclining features that work off of a rechargeable battery. Additionally an air-wave massage feature adds to the comfort, thanks to a patented mechanism that allows the intensity of the movement to be controlled via remote control. Many times Furniture Fashion has praised the Ekornes Stressless collection of ergonomic recliners, home theater seating, and living room furniture handmade the old fashioned way in Norway. Well old fashioned goes only for their commitment to building their furniture the right way, as you can see from the look of their new "Blues" recliner the styles are definitely up to date. I had the pleasure to test drive Ekornes's newest high end ergonomic recliner in High Point this fall and pictures just don't fully tell the story your back will hear loud and clear. The Blues will include the standard Stressless features such as a tilting ottoman, "Plus" automatic adjusting headrest, alternate "Sleep" position headrest, active lumbar support, and 360 degree swivel base, as well as a height adjustable ottoman and chair base which is exclusive the Blues and Jazz recliners. Visit Ekornes.com as they celebrate their 75th anniversary and see their full collection of modern reclining furniture designed with serious comfort in mind.

I know it is a bold statement the "perfect white chair for your living room". Obviously, we all have somewhat different design tastes. But, let's break this down a bit further. The perfect chair will sit comfortably, look great, add to the décor of the room, and not dominate the living room. When you think of those four it does become hard to find the right white chair. Pictured here is Tok from Varier. Tok is a recliner that is designed by Toshiyuki Kita and Ole Petter Wullum. An amazing feature of the white chair is the amount of technology that went into its design. The shape and curves are designed to create an effortless seating area that supports the body in all the right places. Norwegians have been famous for their chair designs being some of the most comfortable in the world. Imagine watching a movie from this seat. More information: here.

When it comes to recliners, nobody has more knowledge or history than La Z Boy. Sure more recent time has spawned their full collection of living room furniture including seating for every application but the recliner remains their forte. I am pleasantly surprised to see the "Carlyle" that has design inspiration dating back to the art deco era of the 1930's. I especially like the curved Maple arms that contrast the straight lines of the boxed border seat and back. Overall - Height: 39.5" Width: 32.5" Depth: 39" Seat - Height: 20.5" Width: 22" Depth: 21" The La Z Boy website can help you visualize all the fabric options with the "Customize Products" helper.
