I really like the creative aspect of the Yang Sofa but its versatility is the most appealing feature. This four piece sofa set has options for two curved opposing sofas or a small "L" shaped mini sectional with an extra accent chair left over. The Yang is really four identical sections that make up a well rounded square, which in this case the sum of the parts is as cool as the whole. Ligne Roset has a complete collection of classically minded furniture for todays contemporary decor.

Hockney Abstract Contemporary Sofa Sectional

Individual parts of the sectional, such as the rounded area, are much more commonplace in furniture design. The compilation of the Hockney sofa is likely attributed to the famous artist. David Hockney could paint from abstract to very detailed portraiture as he was a master at his trade. As far as comfort goes, there is ample room for lounging. The low back height could be a challenge for taller people and would need to be tested by the individual for comfort. The sofa was designed by Rodolfo Dordoni. Measurements: 88" w x 24" h x 142" d. IL Teatro Leather Sofa By Roche Bobois

Roche Bobois is known for their ability to put aside market trends and cost issues and simply produce desirable home furnishings. The IL Teatro sofa by designer Philippe Bouix carries on that historic tradition with a wide expansive seating surface of goose down and full top grain leather shown here in opposing colors which adds a degree of drama to the piece. I particularly like the curved shape that feeds into built in end tables that are accessible thanks to the low profile arms. Enjoy Glamorous Leather with Natuzzi Nicolaus Sofa Series

The Nicolaus sofa series is one of my favorites in not only look and feel, but versatility as well. The construction is geared for luxury with over sized arms, lower lumbar support, pleated sides, and a ratchet headrest that allows you to kick back and lounge on what was once a sleek low profile sofa. The Nicolaus is available in an electric model in which the self adjusting headrest works jointly with the seat that slips out about six inches to create a pseudo recliner. The motion takes place by placing your hand over the sensor built into the side of the arm nicely tucked away out of sight. For those wanting a nice expansive sofa sectional, your possibilities are limited only by space and imagination.

The Classic Dallas Sofa from Natuzzi Leather

Among the products in a beautiful three story showroom was the Dallas sofa series that stood out in what was an overall gorgeous collection. The Natuzzi Dallas sofa features thick deep pleated arm rests, removable headrests, and a firm yet comfortable seat. I was really impressed with the low transitional style of the Dallas that would allow it to find a home in a modern or transitional décor. You can see the entire new collection at Natuzzi, and keep your eye on all the coffee tables, lamps, and living room accessories which are all part of their line up.

Le Tigre Round Leather Sofa by W Schillig

A round sofa can add a new dimension in your living room design by tying together your home decor differently or concentrating on a single point in decorating. Handmade Upholstered Furniture by EJ Victor

It is much cheaper and faster for upholstered furniture to be constructed using cost effective techniques rather than "bench made" one at a time. Handmade techniques are very labor intensive and as a result end with higher prices due to the many hours of human production time, but the product is more structurally sound and detailed.
