Famed furniture designer Jean-Marie Massaud gets his inspiration from many elements and generations. For his latest offering he teamed up with Poltrona Frau to produce the Kennedee modular sofa sectional capable of an infinite number of combinations with different elements allowing free creation. If the 50's and 60's come to mind its because Massaud studied designs that were popular during that era to create a sofa reminiscent of "the golden and lighthearted era of Jacqueline Kennedy's modern, carefree, and sophisticated elegance". Poltrona Frau is know for handcrafted workmanship and every detail is perfected by age old artisanal skills making their products as quality made as they are stylish.

Roche-Bobois is definitely no stranger to great design and exceptional quality. The Symbole modular sofa sectional from designers R. Tapinassi and M. Manzoni as you can see looks up to Roche-Bobois standards, so what about the components. The Symbole sofa hosts a 100% goose duck down cushions surrounded by a tri-colored top grain corrected cowhide, with a solid wood frame wrapped in laminated panels, all of which rests on a solid beech pedestal. As you can see, the Omega circular bookcase works well with the curves of the sofa set. There is a lot to be said for details and they have all been covered.

Ligne Roset offers a great modular sofa set called Yang. As you can see from the pictures, you can have a simple sofa setup like you would in a normal living room. You can also put the sofas together to form a sectional seating system that can accommodate your space in many different ways. Yang offers great flexibility in decorating the living room with many possibilities and shapes.
This clever one arm sofa idea was designed by Francois Bouchet. I personally like the look of the Yang sofa in any room even if you decide against the modular route. I find the increasing depth of the sofa as it flows to the right to add a dimension not normally seen in boxier versions of seating.
