In a previous post Furniture Fashion brought our loyal readers the Louis Ghost dining chair from Kartell that has some really great lines and stackable feature. Well the Pol sofa is another very unique modern furniture design also from Kartell that is anything but ordinary. Many of their designs are visually captivating and use stark shapes and high luster finishes, making a bold statement. The Pol, as you can see is a simple to piece structure with a minimal support bar that would be perfect for a modern commercial setting where comfort would be lees in demand than in a residence. I do like the way the Pol sofa design breaks away from the traditional theme and makes an individual statement.

In the furniture business these days so much is being farmed out to overseas manufacturing, and of course corners get cut to save a dollar. American Leather is still made in the good old USA with quality leathers and a great selection of designs from traditional to contemporary. The Arclounge designed by Rick Lee is a very unique idea in a seating system that you can really get comfortable on. I especially like the symmetry of the two piece sofa and the large over sized ottomans that fit within the curvature creating a very large seating area and utilizing the entire space. Despite a large amount of growth American Leather can still do made to order sofas and sectionals in 2-3 weeks, producing each piece on at a time from top grain leathers only.
