I really love the ultra modern style of the Malmo collection from Moroso of Italy. The long lines offer a very smooth and pleasing symmetry. Designed by Patricia Urquiola the collection includes sofas in three sizes, a chaise lounge and a very discrete and classic armchair. One version features leather on the front and fabric on the back, while another has a combination of two fabrics. A very sturdy construction allows the Malmo to be to be use as contract seating or in commercial environments. I'm sure it would look very at home in a residential setting as well.

I can really respect a great design that stretches our thought process. Well here is a super idea that actually stretches. The accordion style of the FlexibleLove furniture is an experimental structure that is made with environmentally conscious, low cost, recycled materials. Made wholly of paper and wood products the piece gets its strength from a honeycomb structure. The FlexibleLove gets its name from a loveseat that can hold from one to sixteen people changing length and shape by simply pulling at either end. The collapsible structure will be applied to a variety of furniture soon to be released. Designer Chishen Chiu attracted ten thousands spectators in Taiwan's Young Designers Exhibition, and was a clear favorite.
