The Hive H2 by American designer Chris Ferebee has won several international awards and tastefully combines strength and flexibility thanks to it's laminated bent wood and aluminum construction. The Hive shelving system is available in American Walnut and is perfect for long walls that need expandable storage or rooms that need to have stacked systems to make the most of small spaces.

Porada Furniture is an Italian company with a relatively small line of products which focus on design, practicality, and distinct visual appeal. These sideboards offer a good breadth into their design techniques, shapes, and use of colors. Called "Empire", this series of sideboards or buffet tables highlight their contemporary influence. A stark statement is made with glossy white and glossy black finishes, whereas the walnut version provides a much softer option. All of us need places where we can put our possessions away. The modern storage cabinets pictured here fit this need exactly. Clutter can be a result of not having proper storage furniture to keep things tidy and "put away". These modern storage cabinets were created by designer Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti Furniture. The name of this furniture line is Archipenko. The design element that consistently sticks out is the circle of brushed metal that appears on each piece. Though the shapes and sizes differ, the central theme remains the metal circle. A great thing about this line is its flexibility. I am always fascinated to see art deco furniture and imagine where the products came from. Take this green art deco bookcase for example can you imagine it in your home? Many people would probably say NO and think that it would clash with their home's colors. There are those that appreciate a more eclectic sense of furniture.
