Baker Furniture's Jacques Garcia Collection is sophisticated to say the least and features a wide range of offerings for a "classically mature" interior design. The Cristobal two door chest features a smooth rectangular top over a two door chest carved in a stylized geometric design crafted from maple solids and veneers. Finished in Varnished Silver Leaf, this remarkable finish obtains its beauty from layering silver leaf over gold leaf that is hand-rubbed to evoke its warm silvery glow. If you like the Cristobal Chest the rest of the Jacques Garcia Collection is a must see at bakerfurniture.com. W 49 3/4 D 18 3/4 H 35 1/4 Suggested List $6,426 USD

I am constantly amazed at the creativity of today's furniture and interior designers, and Takeshi Miyakawa is name one to keep you eye on. His design studio was started in 2001 and he already has a vast portfolio with some outstanding original furniture designs. Here is his chest of many drawers that may work well as a lingerie chest or even a jewelry chest. The "Affordable Housing" chest features 60 small drawers on all four sides with a nicely finished top that may work perfectly in a large walk in closet to house the finishing touches to your wardrobe. The entire collection of Takeshi Miyakawa furniture designs feature some outstanding chairs, coffee tables, and other storage chests just to name a few. See the entire collection at his website here.

Legnomobile is a new line of storage cabinets offered by M2L Collection. Alfredo Haberli was the designer behind this inspiration. Each design consists of two elements resting on a bench with polished feet. There is a combination of colors including white, wenge, and acid green. I like the combination of colors and the way the two elements "stack" up upon the bench. For me it creates a different look than most storage cabinets where it is one long connected piece along its width. More information: here.

Can't make up your mind for colors in a new storage credenza? How about a bit of traditional mixed with a clean new fresh color? The Greco Credenza combines both of those thoughts into a contemporary piece of storage furniture with a splash of "old world" looking wood. Stefano Joannides uses white lacquer and wood finish to create Greco for Idea Space Design. I like the openness of the left side which is ultra-contemporary and makes quite a design statement in your home. The remaining sections offer practical storage which we all need to remove clutter from our homes. Greco comes in two different sizes and can be found here.
