It is hard to look good standing next to beautiful women, but the PW-747 Cowling Bar from MotoArt pulls it off nicely. When it is party time or just after a long day on the job, the Cowling Bar made from an authentic Pratt & Whitney jet engine cowling once used to power a Boeing 747 is a great place to gather for a social beverage. In addition to the obvious "cool factor" there are plenty of usable shelves for storage, and a hardwood bar counter top for mixing drinks. Other features include a 1/2" tempered glass top supported by mirror polished aluminum stand-offs. Each bar is custom fabricated from the folks at MotoArt.

"Triplet" is another cool home shelving unit designed for storage and organizing a home. The unit is finished in a neutral black color. Triplet gets its name from its design. When examined more closely, it can be seen that the shelving unit is really three units in one where the different shapes have been morphed into a single unit. The result is an eye-alluring piece of storage furniture that challenges our geometry skills from high school. Via.
"Contemporary Cool" just sounds nice rolling off the tongue and when put into design the expectations are high. Aziz Sanyer produced "Face to Face" as a home shelving unit made to not only store possessions, but make a design statement in a room. It can be visible from all four sides which is unusual in shelving units. Its white color creates a subtle touch when combined with most painted colors on a wall. More information: here.
