The Montego is a wonderfully crafted round dining table that is made of solid mahogany wood and some veneers on its table top. The furniture weighs 154 lbs. which speaks to its solid construction. I like the flexibility of dining tables that expand like this model. There is an extra leave which adds another 20" making its overall length at 65". There are 7 choices in wood stains to choose from. For $25 you can request a wood swatch so that you can make a more precise decision about the best color for your dining room. The Montego round dining table is a flexible solution for dining rooms seeking a classic look. Price: $1,599. This product is available at Pottery Barn: HERE.

I have followed Pottery Barn for years. I can tell you that their best leather recliner is their Manhattan model. Having owned one of these chairs for several years I can say that the quality has been top notch. There have been no issues with springs, the reclining mechanism or the leather upholstery. The iconic color for them is the cigar brown which creates a classic look for any room this chair may sit in. I will say this chair does have a sizable footprint so if your floor space is limited, it may be a challenge to work into a smaller room. Dimensions: 39'' wide x 40'' deep x 36'' high. Price: $1,899-$1,999. Buy the product: HERE.

In a previous post Furniture Fashion featured the decorative curvy bookcases of Vincent Thomas Leman that have a distinct look that is unmistakable. Leman's collection looks like something out of Alice in Wonderland and is basically "traditional furniture" that is stretched, curved, stacked and stepped to fit his design intentions. Leman who once made every piece by hand, started Dust Furniture which mass produced his furniture designs to accommodate the rising demand for his products. Despite its playful look all of the Dust Furniture items feature six step environmentally friendly finishes, levelers, quality hardware, and solid birch plywood which is perfect for bending. See the entire story and collection of curvy traditional furniture from Dust Furniture made in Valparaiso, Indiana here.

I can't get enough of the Thos. Moser traditional furniture collection that features stunning handcrafted woodworking that tastefully combines old world craftsmanship with updated designs. As furniture manufacturers are getting faster and cheaper Thos. Moser adheres to the quality ingredients like solid wood, top grain leather, and cast bronze. The "Kenesis Chair" and ottoman feature Moser's signature curves which are repeated in the ottoman and arms milled from three matched pieces of solid wood with polished edges. The Kenesis Chair and ottoman rest on a star-shaped bronze base cast at a local foundry which provides solid enduring support and grounds the momentum of the piece. The video of David Moser shows the concept and making of the Kenesis chair and some of the quality features included. See the rest of the handmade traditional furniture collection from Thos. Moser here.
